Should I take a pregnancy test? I had a mc in dec and I haven't had a period yet it's been 35 days?

I miscarried in December and I'm not sure exactly when to start counting. We didn't really try to conceive this month but we didn't try not to either. We just didn't chart. As of now from the day I started bleeding it's been 35 days. I don't know if it's better to test now or try to wait it out a few more days. I know that if I'm pregnant I need to really know asap so I can start taking progesterone right away but I hate to test and it be negative. I've had 7 mc and I'm tired of the heartache of testing and getting a positive then by the time I get to the dr I mc. I have been tested for everything and talked to a fertility specialist. They can't find a thing wrong with me. The worst part is I have very sore . I can barely stand to wear a bra and I have tried larger sized one and it doesn't ease my pain. Please help and please don't tell me I should have been more careful and not been able to get pregnant right after a mc because every dr says there is nothing medically wrong with conceiving after a mc they just don't recommend it bc of the emotional toll it can take.
