Who remembers Cookie Gilchrist?

It seems that Cookie, having never played in college and having his career in the CFL and old AFL is almost forgotten today. I think he was a truly great player and one of the greatest power runners of all time. I think he would still be a beast in today's NFL. Your thoughts
